Okay, so we woke up way late this morning and had to book it to the gate. Not to mention the crowd in the Madrid airport and the line we had to wait in at Continental. Miranda got the last seat on the plane! Dee, Courtney and Amy were already on board, thankfully. They're all right behind me, but I'm stuick in the middle of the middle. It sucks. Just watched Pay It Forward and Charlie's Angels before that. I didn't know your angels could get down like that.
Only about an hour more. Unfortunately, I haven't slept at all. But maybe that's good. This way I'll sleep well tonight. Have to go through customs in Newark. Not looking forward to that. I guess that's why they made the layover so long.
The other girls get into Atlanta around 7. That's when we leave. Hate!
So ready to get to Austin. I wonder, if anything, what will happen with The Texan there. Not sure why I like him so much, I just do. There' s just something there. I need to reverse the whip, though. I need to just have fun in Austin and act like it makes really no difference to me whether he's there or not. But it does. Of course.
I could've stayed longer, but I am really ready to get home. I just miss Tego and Mo and my house. But I'm still excited for Austin. I don't think that will feel like I'm gone so long since I'll be in the US etc.
Only 40 minutes left on this flight. Then Newark for five hours. Then two more hours, then home!
I still can't pinpoint just one high point. Every day was great. Madrid was fantastic. Or maybe it was just traveling with T. Our hotel was just in such a good lcoation. Really didn't need to hit the chocleteria. But the ice cream has been really good. Or was really good. Mmm, especially Dino's! I wish we hadn't hit the wall in the Museo del Vino, but we smacked right on into it. I think I'm getting ready to hit the wall again, and that's really unfortunate as it's only 1:13 p.m in the States. We ate twice on this flight. How is that I'm hungry again?
