110 in 2010
110 resolutions in 2010.
(Several of these are left over from my 109 in 2009 list. That’s how life works, ain’t it.)
1. Take photos of the home-building process.
2. Blog about the home-building process.
3. Move into our new house! (ETA April 2010.)
4. Go to Ohio in August to take pictures of Colleen & Aaron’s new baby.
5. Swim laps in a lake.
6. Run/walk the World Vision Half-Marathon in August. (Anyone want to come to Minneapolis and join me? We’ll have room in our new house!)
7. Get all my Christmas decorations put away before January 6.
8. List sellable items on eBay.
9. Hire an accountant.
10. Participate weekly (and finish completely) the 52 Weeks for Dogs project on Flickr with Eller.
11. Use our china.
12. Go camping. (Right now we’re planning to meet Brenda, Jeff & Milly in Wisconsin this summer. Can’t wait!)
13. Get a massage. Or 10.
14. Change my name on my passport.
15. Put together a scrapbook about our wedding.
16. Finish the scrapbook from Romania… where I went in 2006.
17. Visit Minnesota’s North Shore.
18. Roll my old 401k and 457b into an IRA.
19. Go to karaoke.
20. Get into the habit of daily quiet time.
21. Go to a Gophers football game in the Bank.
22. Master the “expert” level on Guitar Hero drums.
23. Fit back into my favorite jeans.
24. Eat roasted corn at The Fair.
25. Go on the Sky Glide at The Fair.
26. Go to at least 6 yoga classes at Lifetime.
27. Bring my lunch to work at least 4 days a week.
28. See fireworks on the 4th of July.
29. Go on a boat.
30. Write more about our journey to become parents.
31. Have a birthday party at our house with friends & family.
32. Go to a dermatologist for a skin screening.
33. Reread Harry Potter 7 before the movie.
34. Find more people to sponsor Compassion International children.
35. Use eye cream daily.
36. Floss my teeth every day.
37. Run an agility course with Scout.
38. Build a snowman.
39. Take baths in our new awesome 6′ soaking tub.
40. Set up a home studio in our new house.
41. Have 2011 sessions booked before the end of the year.
42. Go on a Twin Cities Flickr photowalk.
43. Read the entire New Testament.
44. Don’t miss more than 2 total weeks in 2010: A Year in Pictures.
45. Go on a 20-mile bike ride.
46. Give my husband a compliment every day.
47. Send flowers to someone.
48. Decide what to do with my wedding dress.
49. Find/establish a skin care routine that WORKS.
50. Complain less.
51. Learn how to cross country ski.
52. Go snowshoeing.

54. Take the dogs to a dog park monthly.
55. Live in the moment.
56. Write down some of my grandmother’s stories.
57. Update my photo blog with personal photos too. Photos that I shoot for me.

59. Swim laps at the pool at the gym.

61. Shoot more sessions than I did in 2009. (So at least 38.)
62. Host Thanksgiving.
63. Ride our bikes to the new swimming lake.
64. When we pack to move, get rid of things we haven’t used since I moved to MN.
65. Cook dinner more often.
66. Go SCUBA diving.
67. Decrease debt.
68. Buy new furniture (with cash)!
69. Buy a Canon 100mm macro. (With photo earnings.)
70. Go to more home Viking games. (Sold my tickets to about 4 games this season due to weather, photo gigs etc.)
71. Pick an exterior paint color that we can both agree on!
72. Order more samples of my work to display in my home studio.
73. Limit fast food consumption to 1x a month.
74. Comment on more blogs.
75. Get caught up on Lost. We got caught up before the final season premiere.
76. Form an online Bible study/small group.
77. Get a great, frame-worthy photo of Montego.
78. Swim in the ocean. (I can dream.)
79. Read at least one book a month.
80. Furminate the dogs weekly.
81. Condition our leather sofas at least 2x a month.
82. Go to a weight-lifting class at the gym.
83. Keep my car clean. (Which is hard to do in the winter!)
84. Take a great sunrise picture.
85. Take a great sunset picture.
86. Read the book of Proverbs in January. (31 proverbs in 31 days.)
87. Post weekly to Wedded Wednesdays.
88. Host out-of-town friends both weekends of the Minnesota State Fair.
89. Eat breakfast every day.
90. Get my 5d cleaned.
91. See Avatar 3D theaters.
92. Listen more. Talk less.
93. Write more often in my paper journal.
94. Plan a beach trip that requires a passport for February 2011. (Again, I can dream.)
95. Go to a musical at a Minneapolis theatre.
96. Eat more salad.
97. Learn how to make a fire in our wood-burning stove.
98. Don’t mindlessly watch TV.
99. Go ice fishing. (Once.)
100. Update at least 2x a month for F-stop Fridays.
101. See A Christmas Carol at the Guthrie.
102. Score more than 100 on Scramble.
103. Get rid of books/DVDs that we don’t read/watch.
104. Update our TomTom.
105. Play board games with Aaron instead of watching TV.
106. Get a Wii/Wii Fit.
107. Make my morning latte at home on my new Nespresso machine.
108. Do not worry about anything, but pray about everything. Ask God for what we need, and thank him for what he’s already given us. (Philippians 4:6)
109. Remember every day that God is control, and that He works all things for good. (Romans 8:28.)
110. Update this list throughout the year.
