Where I've been.... I went home to my mother's for Christmas, where there was a terrible blizzard and ice storm which pushed my departure date back a day. But my drive to Ohio was clear, if cold, and it wasn't until I crossed the Ohio River into the 'Nati that the roads got bad. But it was beautiful.
I've been spending time with T and her newest addition, Baby A. I was his first ever babysitter, when a few days before Christmas T had to run out and buy a few gifts. (She also got the opportunity to blowdry her hair....)
I went out with girlfriends the weekend of Valentine's Day, and we went to a cheesey radio-station sponsored "single's party," and danced with strangers and took random photos of our awesome pumps.
And of course, in major news, I got bangs. Why did I wait so long? I haven't had bangs since the 7th grade, and baby, I am loving them.
A few weeks ago a group of friends and I went up to North Georgia and spent the weekend in a friend's family cabin. (I use the term "cabin" loosely. It was more like an amazing house with all the amenities built out of pine in the middle of a national forest.) We hiked to a waterfall and Montego ran around for 24 hours without a leash or a care in the world.
